Why people come back
Three years. Three titles.
Chef Kafui Attakpah
The kitchen behind the trophies. Chef Kafui has won the Jollof Festival for Ghana with Calabash three years running. The jollof you order on a Wednesday is the same one that won.
What people say
“Worth the wait.”
They had to make more fufu, about 30 minutes, and boy was it WORTH it. The peanut soup was flavourful, a bit spicy, and rich.
The dishes came quickly and the size of each dish was decently portioned.
The service is top tier and super hospitable. The hosts even taught me how to properly eat with fufu.
I had the waakye with assorted meats… The staff embodied the best of African hospitality.
The vibe and ambiance is absolutely amazing… Food is well plated.
My Ghana friend told me about this spot. Absolutely delicious, and so much better than the expensive place in DC.
